Here in the US, many of us celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day instead of Columbus Day.
Some of us have known this a long time. For others it is new.
Today I asked, "Did you know it's Indigenous Peoples' Day?" when I noticed a dream catcher in a friend's apartment. I was surprised to hear "Yes."
So although much is broken here in a United States that is increasingly not united, there has been some positive change like an earthquake rumbling beneath it all. Chaos is often necessary for change.
