Unfortunately, in 2012 the President signed Republican Congress' "tweak" to the U.S. Right to Peacefully Protest, which helped effectively end Occupy Wallstreet, a protest of U.S. bailout of banks after they caused the 2008 economic crash.
Still, U.S. citizens are legally allowed to protest -- for now -- and continue to across the United States.
