President Obama began his final Press Conference, attempting to explain the role of the 4th Estate, including the right of a Free Press to report on Presidential news which a President may not like.
We hope that Donald Trump will heed President Obama's suggestions, as well as the advice of CIA Director John Brennan and others, to control his angry outbursts toward and tweets about the 4th Estate whenever he disagrees with the Press.
If Donald Trump is going to mention Nazi Germany, it is urgent that he consider one of the primary ways Hitler gained power -- through rigid control and censorship of the press.
As the President has mentioned today in his last Press Conference, those who are about to gain power must reconsider their preconceptions and singular approaches to leadership, including toward inequality and substantial plans to decrease taxes for the wealthy and increase taxes for the poor.
As Obama has elucidated, "You don't want a small sliver of people doing very well, and the rest fighting for scraps."
