U.S. Pipeline Conflict Resumed; Media Suppressed

The Trump Administration continues to interfere with environmental protections.
The Army Corps of Engineers (and Obama Administration) had finally blocked the Standing Rock oil pipeline on December 4, 2016. Now, the Trump Administration has quickly recinded that order. Original pipeline construction has resumed, and protestors have been physically forced to leave. No concern for the rights and health of the original natives of this country.
The section of pipeline, which could pollute water and disrupt sacred ground, has been a continuing source of protests. Tavis Smiley (U.S. humanitarian spokesman) aired an excellent program depicting the plight of the Sioux reservation.  My December 6th post concluded with "How long will this win last?"and the Protection, Not Protest program link.
This is the United States people dream of inhabiting: the supposed "land of the free."
In conjunction, legal action continues against journalists and filmmakers who tried to cover the original conflict. Suppression of the media is autocratic - not democratic.
