Although Americans have not been this polarized since the Civil War, the Democrats winning back the House last night is good for the Country. A system of checks and balances through several branches of government is what the framers intended. Our difficulty recently has been an inability to reach an amiable problem-solving discourse. One way to try to balance our current extremism is through divided government. A Democratic House could reach toward the possibility to finding our way back to "the greater good" instead of "I, me, money": that is, if it were an ideal world...
