Whether we like Trump or not; whether we're democratic, republican, independent, libertarian, or green, this country was formed to break free of and prevent absolute power. (From my January 25 post, except then it was impeachment. Now we're in another reality - but a continuing power struggle. The President calls "mutiny" to governors' refusal to open States' economies.) Even traditional Republicans agree with just about everything he says. Still, they believe the presidency has been given too much power. Democrats, on the other hand, recall blatant congressional defiance like ignoring President Obama's supreme court justice selection. Yet within a brief few months, the balance has shifted.
