Without free speech, this country cannot survive. It is no longer a shining beacon of light. Reporters, writers, award-winning television personalities are losing their jobs for articles and words. Even The New York Times, one of the unbiased non-AI free speech platforms I still rely on, is being sued by Donald Trump. All of this is unprecedented. In my long life, I have never seen anything like it. When I was a very young child, there was a Wisconsin Senator who began labeling thinkers, writers, celebrities, causing them to be blacklisted and lose their incomes. More recently in 2005, George Clooney made a film about that time: Good Night and Good Luck.
Many of us knew the present debacle would happen as soon as Trump was elected and Project 2025 enabled. I've been writing about free speech since the first Trump Administration. But at least then their were guardrails in the associates surrounding him. Not anymore. Everything is to serve his agenda of retribution. And even if he dies in office, those surrounding him will continue project 2025. I know you're busy, but at least glance at some of my previous free speech posts: Jan 18, 2017
