Trump is stopping SNAP benefits that haven't been disbursed. He has repeatedly tried to halt them entirely. But when a federal judge ordered full disbursement Thursday Nov 6th, some States moved to fill benefits overnight. But many States have not.
Trump has now asked the Supreme Court to stop benefits, and the Supreme Court has complied. He is the first President to deny benefits during a shutdown. When and if recipients will get their November benefits is again uncertain. And food banks have run out.
Young children are going without food as are their parents. People are having to choose between food and rent. Trump is disregarding the essential needs of loyal voters who for some reason still seem to believe in him. He also seems unconcerned about the needs of the entire Country he is supposed to be representing. Yet he is spending $300,000,000 tearing down a third of the White House and building a ballroom.
