Labor Day: Land of Opportunity?

Trump boasts the economy is booming under his reign. But “only the top 20%. The rest of us are carrying it on our backs,” according to an Oklahoma resident. And it's true for most States: low-income and poverty rates are still near ½ the U.S. population.*
Because there is such income disparity in this country, few high income citizens I've known can comprehend working poor hardships. But on Labor Day, it's difficult to consider this a country devoted to “the greater good.”
