Connotation, "Cherry-Picking" Sways South Carolina Majority Whip

A word or phrase used out of context can easily become a slogan for our adversaries. Connotation (what a word reminds us of emotionally) usually influences us more than reason. So Bernie Sanders honestly, perhaps unwittingly, mentioned that Castro started a literacy program. And that to many, including highly influential House Majority Whip James Clyburn, suggests that Bernie Sanders leans toward Communism. Clyburn is about to endorse Biden as I write this, which means, as I predicted, a powerful outcome for Biden in South Carolina. Not necessarily my choice, but it would be the Democratic Party's.
