Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist with political ideals similar to those of some Northern European countries like Denmark, Norway, and Sweden where people are reportedly happiest. Yet Republicans and Sanders' Democratic rivals are comparing his socialism to communism. The United States is already a socialist country for the wealthy. For the rest of the population, it is "harshly capitalistic." Unfortunately, even if Bernie Sanders acquired enough delegates, the Democratic Party would probably choose a close runner-up like Biden to be their candidate. This could split the party even more than when it chose Hilary over Bernie 4 years ago.
