President Biden has just suggested that he will not run again. He has not been one to brag about his accomplishments, and the media and public have overlooked the ways in which he has made a difference. Most seem to focus on the one pernicious “ism” that remains socially acceptable and to discount his having turned around a faltering economy, reduced fossil-fuel dependence, expanded resources and successfully ended a pandemic. This is just a fraction of his accomplishments. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is the next in line, but I doubt she could win an election that is already looking like a debacle with at least one strong third party forming to split the vote.
