I am so glad that Joe Biden pardoned his son. There has been nothing he could do to please the public. As anyone who has been in the public eye knows, it is difficult, not only when you're down. And Biden who has so often tried to do the right thing, has been ridiculed for the way he talks and walks, his age, everything, including his son's struggles.
Being close to, or even only knowing someone who's addicted, is impossible. Biden, who has tragically lost two children and a wife, is known to have long agonized over Hunter. Meanwhile, Trump has openly pardoned numerous questionable individuals without a blink in the public eye. At this point, Biden's legacy is constantly questioned anyway, in spite of all the good he has done. He and his family deserve a break, and hopefully this is a start.
